One of the most frequently seen skin lesions at home is most certainly ‘blistering’. Indeed, how many times we all had a blister on the heel after wearing new shoes? Also deformation of extremities (hallux) can lead to painful skin irritation and blistering.
In our home, our skin is very vulnerable and innumerous incidents can happen which will harm our skin. Quite frequently, we have minor cuts, grazes and superficial burns when going our daily activities.
Moist is another very important cause of major skin irritation. Especially women with larger breasts or obese persons often have skin irritation under their breasts or folds (intertrigor).
But also many other areas of the human body are at risk such as the perineum area, the groin, etc. In many cases, this kind of skin irritation is badly managed and will become infected (candida).
